AMERICAN ADVERTISING AWARDS

The mission of the American Advertising Awards competition is to recognize and reward the creative spirit of excellence in the art of advertising. The American Advertising Awards is the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, attracting more than 60,000 entries every year in local AAF Club (Ad Club) competitions.

Conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), the local Ad Club phase is the first of a three-tier, national competition. Concurrently, all across the country, local entrants vie to win ADDY Awards - recognition as the very best in their markets. At the second tier, local ADDY winners compete against winners from other local clubs in one of 15 district competitions. District winners are then forwarded to the national stage of the American Advertising Award.

HOW TO ENTER


Step One: Review

Review your creative work completed between January 1, 2017 – December 31, 2017.
Work submitted must have been published/broadcast during the 2017 year to be eligible.
Select what you feel are your very best projects.


Step Two: Collect

Collect the names and titles of all those involved in the works you select (designers, project managers, writers, etc.).
Collect the digital and tangible assets of your projects (*.pdfs, *.jpg, *.png, *.mov or *.mp4, etc.).

As a part of our ADDY 77 competition, a single campaign entry is ONLY $77 for members.
We are also offering limited time discount on Individual Membership of $97 (normally $125.00) now through December 31st.

AAF Member Single Entry: $77.00
AAF Member Campaign Entry: $117.00
Non-AAF Member Single Entry: $177.00
Non-AAF Member Campaign Entry: $227.00
Student Entry: $37.00


Step Three: Submit

Now that you have all your team credits and assets together visit the online entry portal to enter your work into the American Advertising Awards competition. Upload digital files to portal along with your entry. In the case of Apps DO NOT upload executable files - instead record a brief demo of the app and upload the video file.

Entry deadline is January 18, 2017.


Step Four: Drop-off

If your work consists of tangible assets such as business collateral, magazines, posters, books, packaging, or apparel they must be placed in an entry bag and delivered/mailed. Entry kits can be picked up and submissions delivered to the locations listed below.

If your submission is completely digital such as a website or video you do not need to submit a physical copy as long as you uploaded your assets to the online entry portal. In the case of websites or Apps please also upload a screenshot or final mock of homepage/app screens to the portal.

ADDY 77 AWARDS GALA


The winners gala will be held in February of 2018 at Cinebistro - Sarasota. Come dressed in your best 70's fashion or as your favorite 1977 movie character and enter our 77 Style contest to win a prize.

Gold winners' will automatically forward to the district level of the competition. Silver winners will be provided details on how they can move on to the district competition the evening of the Gala. The 4th District winners will be announced at their awards gala held on April 14, 2018.
