AMERICAN ADVERTISING AWARDS
The mission of the American Advertising Awards competition is to recognize and reward the creative spirit of excellence in the art of advertising. The American Advertising Awards is the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, attracting nearly 35,000 entries every year in local local AAF club competitions.
Conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), the local AAF club phase is the first of a three-tier, national competition. Concurrently, all across the country, local entrants vie to win ADDY Awards — recognition as the very best in their markets. At the second tier, local ADDY winners compete against winners from other local AAF clubs in one of 17 district competitions. District winners are then forwarded to the national stage of the American Advertising Awards.

HOW TO ENTER
Step One: Review
Review your creative work completed between January 1, 2019 – December 31, 2019.
Work submitted must have been published/broadcast during the 2019 year to be eligible.
Select what you feel are your very best projects.
Step Two: Collect
Collect the names and titles of all those involved in the works you select (designers, project managers, writers, etc.).
Collect the digital and tangible assets of your projects (*.pdfs, *.jpg, *.png, *.mov or *.mp4, etc.).
Member Single Entry: $89.00

Non-Member Single Entry: $178.00
Non-Member Campaign Entry: $240.00

Step Three: Submit
Now that you have all your team credits and assets together, visit the online entry portal to enter your work into the American Advertising Awards competition. Digital files must be uploaded to the portal for all entries, even if physical entries are being dropped off or mailed. Physical entries (printed, 3D, etc.) require an envelope or package to be delivered to show proof of production. For large public displays and installations, uploading a high-resolution photograph of the work is acceptable. If the content's end-use is purely digital, there is no need to drop off or mail an envelope. In the case of apps, DO NOT upload executable files — instead record a brief demo of the app and upload the video file. All digital files should be high enough resolution to look sharp on a 1920x1080 display. PLEASE edit all video content to three minutes or less — otherwise we will do it for you.
Entry deadline is January 17, 2020.
Step Four: Drop-off
If your work consists of tangible assets such as business collateral, magazines, posters, books, packaging, or apparel they must be placed in an entry bag and delivered/mailed. Submissions can be delivered to the locations listed below.
If your submission is completely digital such as a website or video you do not need to submit a physical copy as long as you uploaded your assets to the online entry portal. In the case of websites or apps please also upload a screenshot or final mock of homepage/app screens to the portal.

SUNCOAST AWARDS GALA
The winners gala will be held in February 23rd, 2020 in Sarasota. More Gala details coming soon.
Gold winners will automatically forward to the district level of the competition. Silver winners will be provided details on how they can move on to the district competition the evening of the Gala. The 4th District winners will be announced at their awards gala held in April 2020.
