A Lovely Night for The ADDYs

A beautiful setting, a handsome crowd and good spirits all around as competitors congratulated each other this past weekend as we celebrated together the winners of this year’s ADDY competition on Saturday, March 12th.

I would like to especially thank all those involved on the Board and ADDY committee for putting together such an amazing night.

Last Saturday at the Lakewood Ranch Polo Club we reminisced about AdFed’s past and enjoyed seeing the works of future industry professionals as we kicked off the award ceremonies with Student Silver and Gold winners.

In addition to handing out ADDY awards at the 2016 American Advertising Awards Southern DecADence gala we also presented a Silver Medal Award (The most prestigious award from AAF) to Angela Massaro-Fain of Grapevine for her outstanding contributions to advertising and being active in furthering the industry’s standards, creative excellence and responsibility in areas of social concern.

As president it was also my pleasure to announce a new award in memory of one of our outstanding members who passed away in 2013. The Donald A. Adamec Member of the Year Award was presented to the Herald Tribune Media Group for their unparalleled support and assistance to our local AdFed Club this year.

Congratulation winners, and good luck at winning more Silver and Gold at the District competition April 30th in Tampa, FL.
