It was an amazing weekend of June 7th at ADMERICA 2017 in New Orleans. ADMERICA is the American Advertising Federation’s national conference on advertising where our industry comes together for education, inspiration, innovation, collaboration, and celebration. ADMERICA presents a wonderful opportunity for attendees to learn and discuss the latest developments in our industry—from new digital technologies to creative content development. The conference concluded with the annual gala to announce the winners of the American Advertising Awards.
Conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), the local Ad Club phase is the first of a three-tier, national competition. Concurrently, all across the country, local entrants vie to win ADDY Awards - recognition as the very best in their markets. At the second tier, local ADDY winners compete against winners from other local clubs in one of 15 district competitions. District winners are then forwarded to the national stage of the American Advertising Award.
The American Advertising Federation conducts the American Advertising Awards, formerly known as the ADDYs. It is the industry's largest competition, attracting more than 40,000 entries every year.
