AdFed Suncoast Selects New Board President

Shane Hughes, Creative Director at Michael Saunders & Company has been selected as board president of AdFed Suncoast. Since joining the American Advertising Federation in 2008, Shane has won 18 ADDY Awards including six Gold ADDYs and the coveted Judge's Choice award. New chairpersons and committee members were also added to the board roster and include Laura Coyle, Public Relations; Scott Hereford, Programs Chair; Faith Keller, Education Chair; Gayle Marks, Programs Co-Chair; Dema Issa, Communication Committee; and Kelsey Azadian, Membership Committee; who join current board members Peter Baxter, Treasurer; Jenifer Duncan, Secretary; Nairn’ Gillet, Government Relations; Lee Gains, Internet Chair; and Steve Schrier, Membership Chair.

"It's an honor to lead such a talented team and welcome new chairpersons to an already outstanding board," said Hughes. Following AdFed Suncoast's successful 2018 ADDY season, Hughes' new initiatives include increasing general membership, attract new corporate members and sponsors, host speaking engagements, fortify the club's relationship with local schools and colleges, and bettering public relations.

AdFed Suncoast, a non-profit club of the American Advertising Federation, is dedicated to the advancement of the art and business of advertising through professional education, legislative efforts and community service.
