Judges Named for American Advertising Awards

SARASOTA, FLORIDA --- AdFed Suncoast has confirmed the 3-member creative panel that will judge entries in its local 2019-2020 American Advertising Awards competition. Open to entries throughout Sarasota, Manatee, Charlotte, Hardee, DeSoto, Highlands and Glades counties, the American Advertising Awards honors creative excellence.

Judging will be conducted the weekend of January 24. Judges will review entries submitted by the Suncoast market in all areas of online, nontraditional, print and broadcast advertising. All finalists will be notified by the week of February 2nd, and winners will be honored at a black-tie gala on February 23rd. 

Judges are brought in from outside the local market area and include: Matthew Wengerd of A Fine Press in Lakeland, Florida; Anne Grigsby of Grisby Design in West Palm Beach, Florida; and Tim Boatright, Creative Director at Vistra Communications in Lutz, Florida. 

All entries must be received by 5:00 PM on January 17. Entry fees are $89 per entry for members of AdFed Suncoast and $178 for non-members.
